Hello everyone! Figured I post in here as a newbie before I showed up to any official events. Been into these type of cars for many years, and love taking them out cruising and to the strip. I've met a couple from the club out at RMR last week, so hopefully I get to be more social with all the events. Just picked my scat pack a few months ago, so racing last week was a blast! I just need to get wider tires and practice that 0-60' time. My best last week was 14.038@104.72, a best of 2.41 0-60', spinning at every gear change and 35psi. I know for sure that car can drop nearly another full second with some practice and wider tires.

Welcome! Glad you joined up and it was great meeting you and hanging out with you at RMR. Your Challenger is very nice and with no time, I am sure you will have it running low 13s, high 12s. Yeah, I am still shaking my head they put a 245 width tire on the rear, like that is going to help with traction. You can safely run a 275 width tire which will help out a little bit more then your stock tires. Anyhow, I hope you can make it out to more events this year, as Shawn mention, we have 2 upcoming events.

I hope to have a few mods on it throughout the summer, simple things though unless I suddenly came into a bunch of money quickly. Stickier tires and a better 60', possibly under 2.0, would make those numbers easily. If I wake up early enough on Monday, I'll try to make the cruise. Definitely going to be trying for the one on the 30th, since it's literally half a mile down the road from my place.
