Can anyone tell me how the quality is on the vinyl sticker? I was looking into a Red Mopar side race stripe. Or is paint way better?

Vinyl is OK but definitely has short comings, my SIL has them on his Camaro and has several nicks on it edges but he uses a automatic car wash and thinks the brushes are whats nicked them however, I think paint might be subject to the same problem.
Interstate images here in town wants 400. to replace them in vinyl and My new favorite body shop wants 500 to remove them and do them in paint.
Kind of a wash $ wise so to speak, but he would get a 2 year warranty with the paint so personally that's what I would do for that
Then there's the issue of if you decide to change your scheme, paints a lot like getting married... Tougher to get rid of once you're committed...

yeah my biggest worry is the nicks and if I do take the sticker off in the future the sun will probably fade around the stripe too. tough call on that one. Thanks for the input

Although vinyl will allow you to see how it will look without being permanent.

The upside to vinyl is you can take it off if you change your mind with the stripes in the future.

As someone that has done vinyl a few times (not a expert) it can be done and done well. It has a lot of plus sides. First is cost but with cost come quality, the more you pay the better it is, second you can clear coat over a lot of different vinyls, but again cost. So mostly when it comes to vinyl it all boils down to cost. I can do way cheaper then just about anyone else and have it last a very long time. Vinyl just like paint will last longer with proper treatment so it's good and better but cheaper either way.

Might have to have you and Jerren get together and plan the new design. I for one would like it to have Utah modern mopars versus an acronym, that way everyone knows cause it's spelled out. I was thinking the Mopar M but somehow have Utah modern mopars spelled out within it.

I will happily chip in some coin to help cover cost so everyone can have the decal on their car.

My side decal is vinyl. I would not mind having it painted.
