Looking into adding some shorty headers...
How hard are these to install on my own? Or what would it cost to have someone install them?
Lastly Shorties good for the V6???

On the hemi you have to unmount the engine from an engine mount and raise the engine to get the clearance you need...

Just looked today to see room wise and there's definitely enough room to get in there and work without a problem..
Only thing I read was if the exhaust system is opened up too much it will end up hurting performance..
In reality I do plan on super charging and adding an inertia cam sometime down the road so not sure if it will matter in the long run. Just worried about the engine getting up in miles

Worst case with high mileage vehicle, you could always replace with new 3.6L v6 which I hear is a better all around engine. I say do em both.

Would love to put in a new 3.6L... wonder how much that would cost though. I've really been tossing ideas around between buying a 4.7 stroker, supercharging, or just holding out for a srt at some point. Good to know about the headers though.. really a tough decision on mods.

Yeah just hold out for Srt8 when you are done with school or you can find one for $12k-20k now which ain't bad for the car with better braking, suspension, seats and all around performance but that is just my opinion.

You guys are awesome finding these.. I can't seem to anywhere when I look. Atleast cheap. It's just hard to justify when I still have something in the range of 7k to pay on mine as much as I would absolutely love to have the srt right now. Little frustrating honestly. Don't even know what mine would sell for.
